The Aris Allen Raw Sole is made from hard leather with a raw finish. It feels like velvet and acts a lot like Chrome Leather (suede) - it allows you to spin and slide, and still control the floor. NOTE: If you find the sole has picked up dirt from the floor and is slowing down, just shuffle your feet on the pavement once or twice to refresh it. Heel is shown below - note the rubber on top of the leather bottom for shock absorption.
