Flexible Suede-Bottom Sole

Light as a feather This is a feather light dance shoe styled
to look like an eighties running shoe. Because of its light
weight and suede sole you will be surefooted on the dance
floor while still being able to slide and spin. So now you can
look like you're wearing sneakers without the knee-injuring
potential that dancing on rubber soles carries.

Looks quite cute with pants, skirts or shorts.

Sole is flexible to help you feel the floor. You're not supposed to wear suede soles outside - but every Lindy Hopper knows that to make them faster you wear them everywhere and get them dirty, then dance in them to make them shiny on the bottom. If you prefer them less zippy, just don't wear them outside and rough 'em up with a wire brush periodically. Just remember that if you wear them in the rain they'll be tough to spin in until they dry.

SIZING TIPS:
We've found that for whole sizes (6-7-8, etc.) these fit pretty much true to size - but if you're a half size, most likely you'll go up a half size (6.5 fits a 7, 7.5 fits an 8, 8.5 fits a 9, etc.).
NOTE: because of the fact that these were converted from European sizes, the 10 in this style fits like a 9.5! (sorry) For international sizing we recommend that you use our Sizing Chart to help you make a decision.

INSOLE:
The foam insole is removeable!! This means that you can get a custom fit by replacing the insole with one that you've purchased to custom fit your foot (add arch support or use orthotics, etc.) or just wear them as is.
